“WOM” CREDITS

What is a “WOM” CREDIT? It’s a $10 credit for any referrals from a previous customer to a new customer. These credits are stored on your previous records and applied to a future purchase.

What’s “WOM”? As you’ve probably guessed it’s WORD OF MOUTH…still the most honest and reliable source for locating good businesses and great products! Think about it. In a world without advertising, all businesses would need to rely on great products and services and $10? It’s not enough to encourage anybody to recommend us if we don’t deserve it. THANK YOU!

SECURITY/PRIVACY POLICY:

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information via fax, phone, and email, however we do not sell nor make any other use of this information other than to complete an order.

WARRANTIES:

All  frames have a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty and lenses have  a full 1 year manufacturer’s defect warranty. This 1 year lens warranty applies to mirrors and A/R coatings as well. Prescription lenses (EVEN SCRATCH COATED) do scratch. Mirrors and A/R coatings will also scratch and degrade over time, however, if peeling occurs during the first year, the warranty will apply. We do not honor lifetime warranties on frames as specific eyewear products and manufacturers can cease to exist (despite their claims to immortality). Your lenses are guaranteed to meet the requirements of the prescription given to us at the time of ordering.

Doctors prescription changes will be redone at 50% off within 45 days of the original order.  

RUSH ORDERS:

All rush orders (determined to be achievable),will include a $25 fee in addition to any increased shipping fees if neccessary. This fee helps to cover additional costs we incur, in receiving materials more quickly from our suppliers. PLEASE DO NOT RISK USING A NEW UNPROVEN PRESCRIPTION, ESPECIALLY FOR AN UPCOMING TRIP. ALLOW ENOUGH TIME TO APPLY IT TO YOUR EVERYDAY DRESS GLASSES FIRST. IF YOU DON’T HAVE TIME, PLEASE STAY WITH YOUR CURRENT PRESCRIPTION FOR YOUR SPORT GLASSES AS WELL.

SHIPPING/DELIVERY POLICY:

Prescription or made-to-order products are generally completed and shipped within 2-3 weeks of ordering, but some materials and processes can require longer time frames. Opticus will inform the customer at the time of ordering as to when to expect the product to be completed. If you are planning an upcoming trip, we strongly encourage you to allow plenty of time for your order.

Please note: Custom orders may take a little longer during our busy season which typically runs April through July.

Non-prescription or ready made products typically ship within a few days of ordering. However, if an item is out of stock you will be informed.

In most cases, USPS Priority or UPS will be used for domestic orders and the charge is generally $15.00 which includes packaging and handling. Shipping to Canada/Mexico requires USPS International Priority in order to assure a tracking ability. The cost is $65.00 unless otherwise informed. The cost for all other overseas shipping is $80.00 unless otherwise informed. Taxes and duties are additional and the responsibility of the customer at time of receipt. Unfortunately, rush orders outside of the United States cannot be accepted.

REFUND POLICY:

We offer a 15 day return policy on all ready made, non-custom products. Due to the nature of our made-to-order prescription products, we cannot offer a return policy. We do, however, guarantee that our products meet the requirements of the use intended and that prescriptions meet or exceed tolerance. Our ultimate goal is to satisfy our customers. In the event that adjustments need to be made, our team will go above and beyond to find a solution. All shipping costs are nonrefundable.
